In answer for the demand for inexpensive starter websites I’m offering what I might call my “Two Day Wonders”, which, as the name implies, should take me two days to build. I’m going to price them at $800.
The Power of WordPress and Great Design for $800
Though they may be simple, you will have the ability to make your site as comprehensive as you want to make it. A WordPress site opens up a whole new vista for you to take off where I leave off with your web design since you will have access to thousands of free and premium plugins (apps, in other words) and you can build as many pages as you want and of course you will be able to become a blogging maniac.
What Do You Get For $800?
- A Full-Blown Content Management System (CMS). About ten years ago you could have paid $8000 for a website like this and some companies are still charging thousands of dollars. A CMS gives you unlimited possibilities for you as a non-techie to add to your website and make it grow with your business.
- Up To 6 Pages. These include the basics such as Home, Services, About, Gallery, Contact, etc.
- A Great Looking Website. You still get the benefit of my artistic bent, even at this price. Your site won’t look like a template.
An Ecommerce Site Starting At $1400
In addition to the above, if you plan to display products or services and take online payments then you need an ecommerce site and I need more to cover the time it takes to set up a shopping cart, especially if you are in Washington State selling to the numerous taxing districts in Washington State. This price does not include the cost of your payment portal or secure SSL certificate but does include installation and product category creation and a few products inputted to demonstrate how you can do it.
My client has yet to input his text on some of this website but you can still get an idea of what it will be like at tacomalandcontractors.com It’s based on the Responsive WordPress theme which you can see HERE. You can also view asbestosmoldsolutions.com and legacy-lawn.com.
