History says marketers win. Let me illustrate:
When you tap out on marketing, or take a break because you’re doing well at the time, somebody will be waiting to fill your customers’ ears with their message.
Before the Great Depression, Ford was outselling Chevy 10 to 1. Just one year into the Depression, after Ford choked off its marketing and Chevy increased theirs, Chevy was the new frontrunner in car sales. That’s a HUGE swing.
Whether you are the current leader or the scrappy underdog in your industry, marketers win. Market well and often, and you’ll start to see growth. Tap out and you’re in trouble.
